My first landing on Sint-Maarten

In 2011, I had my first flying lesson and it was the beginning of a love story with aviation.

I was living on Sint Maarten and enjoying a sabbatical in paradise. I visited the "Aéroclub Saint-Martin" and after a discussion with the President of the club (Yves Blanchet), we scheduled a discovery flight. During the flight we practised, stalls, 360 degrees turns (with 60 degrees bank) and touch and gos.

We filmed some parts of the flights and I have uploaded the first landing on Youtube. I will be editing the rest of the flight and uploading it soon.

HEY, I’M SULTAN…

I am a private pilot living in the Netherlands. I used to believe that aviation was not possible for me, and that I should pursue a regular job.

Since I took the jump to learning to fly, I have had the chance to fly in Europe, Asia and the Caribbean. It has been amazing and I would like you to also experience that. Watching the world from 3000 feet or higher is an amazing feeling.
